What people are saying about UXIM

“What a great conference. I’ll be back again as soon as I can! The conference is one of the most focused and organized that I’ve ever attended.”

Garret N.

Here’s all the great stuff you get with your registration:

  • IPEVO Point to View Document Camera: If you registered for the full conference by January 30 you’ll get an IPEVO camera. This compact and portable camera makes it ideal for sharing your sketches and designs remotely or with large audiences.

  • Two Day long Workshops: Get the details you need to ramp up your UX mobile skill set.

  • One Day of Featured Talks: Hear the latest ideas and techniques around mobile UX during 90-minute talks from our team of experts plus a keynote from Jared Spool and another UX rock star.

  • Complete Conference Materials: You’ll get PDFs for every session and workshop before you even show up at UXIM.

  • Recordings of the Featured Talks: Relive every Featured Talk at your office with your team through the video and audio recordings.

  • Food: Plenty to eat and drink with a reception, a lunch, 3 breakfasts, and great break goodies.

  • Topic Tables and Networking Reception: Meet UX practitioners who, just like yourself, face the same challenges and are discovering new solutions.

  • Mingle With Your Peers: We know meeting others can be challenging, so we’ve created a series of interactive activities to help you. Find out all the fun stuff we have planned for you.

More important information you should know

How do I select my workshops?

The meat of the conference are the daylong workshops. During the registration process you’ll pick the workshops you want to attend on Monday and Wednesday. As long as the workshop is available, you’ll get your first choice.

Though you select the workshops you want for Monday and Wednesday of the conference, for Tuesday, you’ll just walk into the session of your choice.

Where should I stay when I come to UXIM?

When you stay right in the conference hotel, you’re at the center of all the action. The Denver Marriott City Center is ideally located with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and evening activities.

We’ve arranged for a special price for UXIM attendees: You can get a room for $179/night (plus tax) when you book online or call the hotel at 1-877-303-0104. Be sure to refer to the UX Immersion Mobile Conference to get the special rate.

What's this about a '100% Satisfaction Guarantee'?

That’s right. We guarantee you’ll be 100% satisfied with the UX Mobile Immersion Conference, just like we do for all our work and events at User Interface Engineering.

If you’re not completely satisfied for any reason, we’ll refund your entire registration fee. It’s been a long time since we’ve had to do that for anyone and we’re confident you’ll love the conference, but it’s good to know you’ve got our promise of awesomeness.

Are there group discounts?

Yes. Bring the whole company!

Groups of 3 or more can get $300 off the current price. Though we’d like to meet as many people as we can from your company, we can’t split a 3-day registration between two or more people.

What if I have to cancel? Can I substitute someone else?

Cancel? We were so counting on seeing you there. That’s a bummer, but we understand unforeseen situations. You have a few options.

Send someone in your place: You can substitute a colleague up until April 2 with no charges or penalties. Just send the person’s name and contact information to events@uie.com. (They have to replace you for the entire registration. Sorry, but you can’t substitute someone for part of your registration.)

Attend a future UIE event: You can apply your UXIM payment towards any future live event UIE produces. Just email us at events@uie.com and we’ll work with you to make it all perfect.

Get a refund: If you let us know you need to cancel within 48 hours of registering, we’ll refund you 100% of the amount you paid. After that first 48 hours and until March 19, there is a $300 cancellation fee. After March 19, we can’t give you a refund, but you can use the funds towards another UIE event. Email us at events@uie.com as soon as you know you need to cancel.

Mingle with your peers

We’re planning some fun ways for you to meet your peers at the conference.

If you arrive on Sunday, pick up your registration materials and join us at the opening cocktail reception.

Need dinner plans for Monday? We’ll have dinner sign up sheets for a slew of local restaurants within walking distance. Just add your name to the list and meet up at the restaurant. You only have to cover your own meal. There’s no additional cost.

At Tuesday’s lunch, we’ll label a number of tables with hot UX topics for roundtable discussions. Just find a topic of interest and take a seat at the table. (Don’t worry, we’ll also have topic-free tables.)

Finish up Tuesday with some delicious hors d’oeuvres and tasty beverages, with your fellow attendees at our evening conference reception.

Participate in any or all of these activities and you’re sure to walk away with a new set of friends.
